We have recently completed an interesting project involving integration of Shopatron’s Pro Customer API into TheSnowPros.org backend. According to Shopatron’s Pro Customer API guide: The Pro Customer API allows merchants to set up customer accounts for their Pro Stores. One Pro Customer application is used to send a manufacturer ID and login credentials to the server for validation. Upon successful validation, the server returns an access or login token, to enable API access or allow Pro Store login. Once this token is available, another Pro Customer application can be used to create a new customer account based on a generic account. A third Pro Customer application can be used to log into a Pro Store account. Sounds complicated? …We think not!
